The Digital Projects Department creates and provides access to digital materials in support of the University Libraries mission to provide excellent research collections and expedite access to knowledge.
The department provides guidance, expertise and assistance in the development of digital projects; coordinates the work of an advisory committee which recommends projects for implementation; manages implementation of individual digital projects; and maintains a web site which provides documentation of the program, access to University Libraries digital projects, and direction to other digital resources. The University of Cincinnati Digital Press is an imprint for selected research publications of the University Libraries.

The Digital Projects Advisory Committee recommends projects for implementation to the Dean & University Librarian based on established criteria and provides direction in the implementation of projects with regard to funding and coordination within the University Libraries and with OhioLINK and the OhioLINK Digital Resources Center where appropriate.
The Digital Projects Advisory Committee is a standing committee, appointed by the Dean & University Librarian. The Committee's work is corordinated by the Head, Digital Projects Department.
The University Libraries Luna User Group makes recommendations to the Digital Projects Advisory Committee regarding implementation of Luna software and standards for digital collections.
The Group includes those Libraries staff members responsible for development of Luna collections.
